Think you know all about Fruit Wines?
Well think again. The fruit wines produced by the Hive Winery are a little different from what you might be expecting. Many fruit wines on the market are very sweet, often 12 to 16 percent residual sugar, but we believe that fruit wines have a place on your dinner table as well. As a result, our wines range from dry wines with no residual sugar, carefully crafted to drink more like a classic grape wine, to sweet wines at 6 percent residual sugar. We believe that the wine should taste like the fruit it is crafted from, but in general fruit needs some degree of sweetness to make the flavors blossom and come to life, so the majority of our wines are classified as off-dry to semi-sweet (1 to 4 percent residual sugar)
